He worked live and in studio, with Irene Grandi, Paolo Vallesi and shel Shapiro, in addition to other occasional collaborations with big names of italian and international music, like Dolcenera, Gemelli Diversi, Andrea Mingardi, Kurtis Blow, Walter Savelli, Paola Folli, Francesca Toure’, Mariella Nava, Valeria Vaglio, Alberto Rocchetti (Vasco Rossi Band), Nico Gori, Dj Blade (Jestofunk), Mia Cooper, Paolo Brera (Xsense), Bengi (Ridillo), Simone and many other recordings like album, singles, cds, live dvds and compilations. Meanwhile, he took part to teaching activities (Electric Bass courses and Ensemble music) at some of the best music schools in Florence and districts, like the l’Accademia Musicale di Firenze and the Scuola Comunale di Musica di Scandicci, being the mentor of the most promising young musicians of the Florentine and Italian scene. He has been studyng the Chapmas Stick since 2009, a 10 or 12 strings instruments (an hybrid between piano, guitar and bass, which is to be played with the “tapping” technique, invented in 1974 by the american guitar player Emmeth Chapman). It is a really fascinating instrument, not well known by the majority of people. In june 2014 he releases his first solo album, using the name Mitcha, available on I Tunes, Amazon, eMusic, Spotify and all the main digital platforms, and totally focused on the Stick in different kinds of music (“Mitcha – DisCovering, Vol. 1”, EP, Music Valley Records/Warner Music), with the collaboration of several Florentine singers, as special guests for 7 tracks.
