Weight and dimension are considerably reduced but without affecting the sound quality; offers auditory features that combine attack, definition and heat; offers the possibility of the open-back, half-closed or closed back configurations, in an easy and fast way, without tools.
Since 2000, the DRAGOON modules have set a new standard in comparison to classic 2x12'' and the obsolete 4x12''.
2x12'' were considered until then, a cheaper option: small and light, but limited on sound quality and performance.
“Dragoon - The Custom Speaker” was developed, taking into consideration several factors affecting the sound of the electric guitar.
By analysing the behaviour of existing amplifiers and speaker cabinets, we realised that amplifiers have the expressive power and sound required by musicians, but speaker cabinets limit that potential, regardless of the type of speaker mounted.
Efficiency, dynamics, distortion and the frequency response of amplifiers are restricted by the system in which speakers are mounted : THE SPEAKER CABINET.
The challenge was to give justice to the guitar player and his sound, without increasing the ampage power or doubling or even quadrupling the number of speakers, or their weight and size. The result is increased ‘real’ sound, effective, versatile and dynamic, with reduced size and weight.
